New four star review

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Role Model For Girls!, September 15, 2012
By Nicki (Chicago, IL) -

This review is from: Tales of Aradia The Last Witch Volume 1 (Kindle Edition)It is very clear that the TWILIGHT series influenced the author when she wrote this story. However, there are some important differences. One of the main differences is the character, Aradia, who I felt was much stronger than Twilight's main character, Bella. Aradia fights off werewolves, helps solve mysteries, and creates homeopathic cures for friends and strangers, even those who are mean to her. The result of Aradia's strong and loving personality is that she earns herself a group of friends who would be willing to die for her. I love this character, and I am looking forward to reading more about her!

Revolution Turned Down Publisher to Crowd Fund New Broken Sword Game | GamePolitics

Revolution Turned Down Publisher to Crowd Fund New Broken Sword Game | GamePolitics:
According to Edge, Revolution Software turned down a publishing deal with the industry's "biggest third-party publisher" for its latest game, Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse, in favor of trying to crowd fund it via Kickstarter.

Can self-publishing buy respect? - Salon.com

Can self-publishing buy respect? - Salon.com: There was much pearl clutching after the Internet aired abecedarian mystery novelist Sue (“A Is for Alibi”) Grafton’s thoughts on self-publishing. Short version: She thinks it’s for lazies. Who you calling lazy? The digital swarm opined and I agreed, to some extent, with the outraged chorus. Who wouldn’t want to be on the side of the self-publishers, those scrappy DIY-ers who, like their punk forefathers and -mothers, step outside of a system that can’t or won’t serve them? Get in the van!

PC News: Broken Sword - The Serpent's Curse hits Kickstarter - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

PC News: Broken Sword - The Serpent's Curse hits Kickstarter - ComputerAndVideoGames.com: Broken Sword - The Serpent's Curse is the title and will be the latest in the long-running, much loved point-and-click adventure series.

THQ and Virgin have handled publishing for previous installments, but its Kickstarter push to raise $400,000 will allow Revolution to publish independently - and with $130,100 after just a day, it appears well on its way.
