Why Self-Published Authors Need Editors - GalleyCat
This is something I agree with wholeheartedly. My mentor (my uncle Steven Pressfield) says I should be my own editor but I got the feeling that just wasnt for me. Luckily, Harrison came along and it has been great ever since. He and share so many opinions on things. The best part is he is also an indie author so he understands how hard it is. I think being writer is supposed to be a solitary kind of thing but having a partner makes it so much easier. Editors can be more then just your critics they can be your partners.
