I got contacted by the author of this book, L.A.Jones herself for me to read and review this book. I never agree to read and review a book that doesn't sound good, so any I do accept to read needs to sound like a book I would love. The cover is very interesting and that helped with me agreeing to read and review this book. The title which included the work "Witch" always helps me out as I love stories which includes magic etc. The description was the last thing which won me over to reading it, I mean who doesn't want to read a book were the description makes you want to read the book right at that instance.
I really liked this book, for so many reasons which I will explain now. First reason why I liked this book was it has a great unique storyline, though uses Witches, Vampires and Werewolves, but the fact is she doesn't over use them and its not the same old story where a vampire falls head over heels for the main character which I really loved about this. Second reason why i liked this book was the way it flowed and how I could read it so easily without thinking, "what does that mean", "I'm confused" or "When did that happen". I knew everything that happened and how things were happening so I was never lost of and I didn't have to go back to read anything I may of forgot about. The last reason why I loved this book so much was the way she portrayed the characters in this book and how they are all never perfect and that they all have flaws and issues.
I have to honest in this review and say the beginning it felt like it wasn't as good as when it got the middle onwards but it still was good so that to me was 1 of the only errors I found in this book other than... "WHY DID IT END SO SOON!!!??".
The characters as I said above was portrayed in such a great way, and I loved each character in different ways, even the bad guys. I mean everyone loves a bad guy in a story.
Aradia the main character knows she's different and maybe special in a way, but its only caused her bother in the past so she will start a new life in a new place and hopefully she can be just like any other normal teen. Well that doesn't go to plan... not really.
I love Aradia so much, its un real. She is a strong character and she doesn't deserve what happens to her and the pain she has gone through in her past. I really admire her as she tries her best to fit in and make friends.
Overall in my opinion I really liked this book and I can't wait for the 2nd book to be released which I know is very soon.
Thank you L.A. Jones for asking me to read and review because it was a really good book to read.
I would recommend this book if you want to try something different to the normal Witchy, Vampire books you have read in the past.

What Makes a Woman, Any Woman, Kickass? By T.M. Roy
What Makes a Woman, Any Woman, Kickass? By T.M. Roy
"I think it’s her capacity for compassion and caring. Her biological instinct to nurture and protect. And her tenacity and fury when something she cares about is threatened. It’s something I see in many women. I see it in my own sisters. I see it in some friends who are mothers or otherwise have those strong mothering instincts. For sure it’s one of the main reasons the small population of the people in my book-worlds have held out so long against a larger, stronger, better-equipped enemy. People who fight for what and who they love have a lot more going for them. You want to unleash the hounds from Hell? Try getting between mothers and their children." Quoted from the blog post.
one of the things I like about Aradia is she not only uses strength, She uses brains as well. Her ultimate goal is have hiddens and humans co-mingle in harmony. She's not foolish to believe that such things won't require some physical force. after all, once you show bullies you are not afraid of them they back down (sometimes) Either way, Aradia knows that in order for the hiddens to exist peacefully with the humans she has to organize and crack down on the tyrannical governments living in the hidden world. She's just one girl to face such odds but...what i like about kick ass heorines they take on missions not for money or glory or because they think it will be easy. they take the missions because it is right!

Courtesy of a former bully victim!
"This is a message to anyone who is being bullied right now. It doesn't matter if it's online or IRL. This is for you. YOU matter. Your opinions matter. Your feelings matter. Your thoughts matter. Your dreams matter. Your LIFE matters. You are special. You are beautiful. You are talented. You are valuable. You are wonderful. You are respected. You are cared about. You are STRONG. You are a good person. You are loved. You can succeed. You can reach out. You can hold on. You can overcome. You mean something. You have worth. You deserve to LIVE. I LOVE YOU. Please copy and paste this as a journal entry. Paste it on other websites if possible. Title it "AFFIRMATIONS FOR BULLYING VICTIMS" and spread it around. Let this message circle the internet. There has to be at least one place where someone who needs to see this will see it."
