Nowadays it is not uncommon to see many products with book covers or phrases from book series being featured. Many indie authors such as Lizzy Ford has developed this in products such as bookmarks.

I figured that this would be a great thing to try but rather than design everything myself I will give my fellow Aradians a chance to submit designs and things. You can also submit an idea for what kind of product you want your design to appear on. Anything from a t-shirt to a tote bag to even a bumper sticker.

There is only one catch: you must submit your design to my email address at

If they meet with both my and my editor Harrison R. Bradlow's approval then we will use them.

Keep in mind you can suggest what type of product you want it to be used on.

Don't worry if we approve you will get a percentage of the products sales and we will acknowledge your name with design. You can even give it your own personal signature.

The contest will last until next year the sixth book comes out. So either way, everybody wins.

Since I can't release book 6 until next year and do not wish to deprive my fellow Aradians of their dosage of Aradia adventures I have decided to go over my already released volumes and revamp them. This means I will go over the typos and the grammar problems and fix them. I will also make some added changes such as changing the word Tolerane to Amelioration. I know it's not as cool as a new volume in the series but hey it's better than waiting another year with nothing new to read.

Important announcement.

I once read this article about the word "Tolerance" and it seriously got me thinking.

You see one of the issues Aradia has to deal with is the issue of segregation amongst the hidden race. For a while I have been using the word Tolerance to describe her movement but needless to say reading this article put things into perspective.

And these are the words which truly struck me.

I hate that word. I do.

Well anyway regarding that article I actually talked to my editor Harrison R. Bradlow about changing the word tolerance in our book series. Funnily enough, he actually agreed with me. Scary how that man and I think alike. But then again we are partners.

 What I mean by changing per say is basically using a different word for the movement. One of the things we pride ourselves on is being original in our series. Although its impossible to be a 100% original in a fantasy series it doesn't mean we should not try. So we decided to use a word that has not really been used before or at least not commonly in the fantasy book department.

Here let me quote our exact conversation for you.

L:Have u given any thought to the words that will be used as an alternative for "tolerance"
H: I have. I'm still a big fan of something like "Forward." What do you think?
L: That sounds cool.
H:It has a good connotation without being blunt.
L:It doesn't sound sexual at all to you? Do we want to be simple or more complex?
H: I want it to be one word, but complex is fine.
L:Definitely needs to be one word. How about "Amelioration" Or "Revivification"?The second one sounds a lot cooler. More hip.
H: Doesn't sound plausible enough, but I like the idea. What if we truncate it: Reviv
L: U know amelioration means "making something better".
H:How about Melio?
L: That would be a truncate of the word right? I actually like it! What do u think Harry?
H: Great!

There you have it. Progress made. More importantly what this means that come this spring break or summer there will be changes to books 2-5 in order to better suit the word "Amelioration." So in addition to getting book 6 this summer you will also get updates to the already released Aradia books.
Talk about a double treat huh?

Urgent!!!!!!

First things first, I know that I have given many of you the impression that edited version of book two was to come out in November but unfortunately we have run into some difficulties.

You see my editor/partner Harrison R. Bradlow who is the genius that helped improve the first book in my series has been dealing with a lot of stress in his life. He just recently got promoted at his regular job and he and his wife are taking care of their first child. As many of you probably know taking care of a baby is a full time job.
Nevertheless, Harrison is very dedicated to the series. So dedicated that there is no way he can release the book unless he is sure the book is perfect. The first book is a very hard thing to live up to hence why he is taking his time. Unfortunately, such genius cannot be rushed. Hence why he has missed the deadlines. But never fear Harry says he is almost half way done with editing. However, we must all give him plenty of time to perfect it. I don't know how long it will take but believe me it will be worth it.

Harrison R Bradlow had this to add: "To all the fans of the Tales of Aradia universe, I extend my sincere apologies for this delay. This is a series which has incredible potential, which is why I am proud to be a part of it. It would be a disservice to Aradia and to you, the reader, to rush volume 2 to print before it is ready. Right now, the diamond is shining. When I'm done, it will be positively blinding. I thank you all, both for your patience, and for accompanying LA and myself on this journey."
